Blue Cross of California provides numerous types of supplemental insurance plans and they are discussed below.

Blue Cross ClaimFree Standard Plan A ý This supplemental insurance provides additional coverage for basic Medicare benefits with the freedom to see any physician in the Medicare plan. This does not cover the Medicare Part A or Annual Part B deductible.

Blue Cross Senior Classic C, F, I and J ý This supplemental insurance program is Blue Crossýs most popular because it allows you to choose your doctor and hospital. Under this program Medicare Part A and Part B deductible are covered when network providers are used. Blue Cross I and J programs also include a prescription drug benefit.

Blue Cross Senior Select/Blue Cross Senior Select Plus ý The major difference in this program is the low $5 co-payment for office visits as well as covering Medicare Part A and Part B. Select Plus consists of a prescription drug benefit when you use participating pharmacies.

Blue Cross Senior Smart Choice (High Deductible Plan F) ý This supplemental insurance includes low monthly fees with a high deductible with the same benefits as Senior Classic F. Generic drug coverage with low copays and no yearly maximum amount are the defining elements that help round out this excellent plan.

Blue Cross SmartChoice Preferred (High Deductible Plan F) ý Here, you will receive the same benefits as the SmartChoice plan plus $5 office visits, vision and chiropractic care.

Blue Cross Senior SmartChoice PLUS (High Deductible Plan F with Rider) ý This provides the same benefits as SmartChoice with the addition of home health services and nursing facility care.

Blue Cross AdvantageCare ý This plan offers the same benefits as the Senior Classic F Plan with up to $36, 500 for a nursing facility and home health care.
